The rules for the Enjoy Vélos Épinal events can be consulted below:

Taking part in one of the Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides implies pure and simple acceptance of the present regulations in their entirety.

The rules can be consulted on the website www.enjoyvelos.com and on site on the day of the event.

Ronde des Draisiennes

The difficulty levels of the rides are posted on the organisation’s website.

The Organiser reserves the right to change the route without prior notice. However, he will inform the participant at the latest during the briefing for the walk.

Participants must be present at the briefing 10 minutes before the start of each ride.

Participants in Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides are solely responsible for ensuring that the equipment they use complies with current standards, as well as for its maintenance.

The bike must be in perfect working order and equipped with a front and rear brake.

 

For tours open to or reserved for electric bicycles, the participant’s electric bicycle must comply with current CE standards, the motor power must not exceed 250 watts and the assistance must be switched off at a maximum speed of 25 km/h (+ or – 5%). Assistance must only be provided when the cyclist is pedalling, and must be switched off when pedalling stops. Start-up assistance without pedalling is permitted, but must not exceed 6 km/h.
Wheel sizes and tyre sizes are free but must remain the same throughout the event and must comply with the bike’s homologation certificate.
Debriding kits, as well as bikes electrified using a kit, are forbidden on all Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides.
The speed sensor must be a moving magnet attached to the wheel.


On rides open to or reserved for EABs, participants may not recharge or change the battery on their EAB during the ride.
An additional battery carried by the participant is permitted on all rides.

The Organiser declines all responsibility in the event of damage (theft, breakage, loss, emergency intervention, ski lift…) to the personal belongings of the participant in the Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides, even if he/she has custody of them. The participant will therefore not be able to turn against the Organiser for any damage caused to his/her equipment. It is the responsibility of each participant to take out insurance to cover these risks.

7.1.In accordance with FFC & FFVélo regulations 

Helmets (CE) must be worn and gloves are strongly recommended on all Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides.

Any participant arriving at the start of a ride without the obligatory equipment will be refused the start.

7.2. On-board camera 

The use of an on-board camera is authorised under the sole responsibility of the participant. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the camera is properly attached to the bike or under the helmet visor to avoid any danger. Metal or permanent fixings to attach the camera under the helmet visor are forbidden; only adhesive tape and velcro are permitted. Wearing the camera on the breastplate is strictly forbidden.

7.3. Security 

For your safety, we recommend that you bring the following equipment:
– Survival blanket
– Mobile phone
– 500ml water supply

As part of the Enjoy Barbecue evening, participants must bring the following equipment:
– Front lighting
– Rear lighting
– Reflective waistcoatt
 

7.4. Refuelling 

Enjoy Vélos Épinal rides are based on the principle of an individual, semi-self-sufficient event. Along the route, refreshment areas are supplied with drinks and food to be consumed on the spot. Only water (excluding other beverages) will be used to fill water bottles or water bags.

Each participant must ensure that, at the start of each feed zone, he or she has the necessary quantity of water and food to reach the next feed point. No personal assistance is permitted on the course outside the designated feed zones.
 
Attention : On each ride, it is the participant’s responsibility to bring their own personal cup or to use the cup offered in the Enjoy Vélos Épinal Welcome Pack.
No glass or cup will be provided at the refreshment points, including the refreshment point at the finish.
It is forbidden to leave clothing, food, drink or rubbish at the start of the race.
 
To take part in the walks, you need to meet the following conditions:

– For minors, present an endorsement from their legal representatives – Be in good health
– Be in possession of the frame plate issued by the Organiser
– Be up to date with payments
– Minors must be accompanied by an adult
The participant undertakes to complete the circuit in its entirety, without leaving the marked route and without deliberately taking shortcuts.
If the participant leaves the track, he/she must return to the route at the point where he/she left it.
Participants must comply with these rules.

The participant must comply with the Organiser’s injunctions.

The participant may not in any way contest the decisions of the Organiser or the local authorities.

The participant must respect the human, animal, natural and plant environment.
For example: the participant must not throw or leave rubbish in nature, on the roads or in any other place. They must keep it with them and dispose of it in the bins provided.

Complaints concerning the conduct of the rides themselves or the behaviour of other competitors must be submitted to the sports management within 15 minutes of the last competitor’s arrival.

13.1 Each participant authorises Vélo Vert, publisher of “Vélo Vert Magazine”, and/or any natural person and/or legal entity that substitutes it, as well as any third party acting on its behalf, to use, reproduce and adapt the photos, still or audiovisual images in which he or she may appear in connection with his or her participation in an event organised by Vélo Vert, and this on any useful medium (including promotional and/or advertising documents), on any private or open, national or international telecommunications network (in particular Internet, Intranet, Extranet) in unlimited numbers, in any material, any colour and any format. This authorisation is granted free of charge, for the longest period provided for by the law, regulations and applicable treaties in force, including any extensions that may be made to this period, throughout the world.

13.2 When collecting Passes, each participant agrees to be photographed by the Organisation. The identity photograph taken on site guarantees the smooth running of the Organisation (control of access to the tests and activities) and its security. This photo is made available to participants free of charge in their personal online space on the event’s dedicated website.

Vélo Vert undertakes to comply with its obligations regarding the protection of personal data in accordance with the regulations in force in France as set out in Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, files and freedoms, known as the “Informatique et Libertés” law, and EU Regulation 2016/679 of 25 May 2018 on data protection, known as the “RGPD”.

Vélo Vert informs you that it will collect and process your personal data in its capacity as data controller, for the following purposes:

(i) Managing your registration for events and the purchase of Passes;

(ii) Administrative management;

(iii) Follow-up of disputes and disagreements relating to these general terms and conditions.

The personal data that may be collected by Vélo Vert is as follows: surname, first name, date of birth, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, measurements (height, weight).

Your personal data is collected exclusively to meet legal or regulatory obligations.

(accounting, tax obligations, etc.) that are incumbent on Vélo Vert, and to meet Vélo Vert’s legitimate interests (management and monitoring of the commercial relationship in the context of your registration for events and the purchase of Passes, or in the context of monitoring disputes relating to these Terms and Conditions).

Vélo Vert may allow its sub-contractors (within the meaning of the RGPD) temporary and secure access to some of your personal data, in particular for the purposes of carrying out the tasks necessary for administrative management, monitoring your registrations and purchases of Passes, or in the event of any dispute. Vélo Vert will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for processing, and more specifically for the duration of the performance of these Terms and Conditions, plus the limitation period for any related action.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification and deletion, limitation, opposition and your right to the portability of your data by sending a letter to the address of the registered office of Vélo Vert. You may also make a complaint to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL).
